Calling all singers… This is an invitation to join us for the Lighthouse Big Sing, and become part of a massed choir performance.

Karl Jenkins The Armed Man with the Bournemouth Symphony Chorus,players from the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra under the baton of BSC Music Director, Gavin Carr. The Armed Man is a powerful and compelling account into the descent into and terrible consequences of war. Set within the framework of the Christian Mass, the Armed Man is a major choral work
which uses both sacred and secular texts.

The Lighthouse Big Sing is for anyone who loves singing, for all ages and experience. Participants will spend the day in rehearsal, with the performance open to the public.

Thanks for all your enthusiasm and interest in Coastal Voices.

We’ve been busy working out more of the nuts and bolts of rehearsals and performances in 2012, and you can download the latest news here. There are still some “tbc” gaps, but please bear with us and we’ll have those nailed down as soon as possible, but hope you can see the idea of the kind of commitment involved and the spectrum of performance dates.
