We had the disappointing news last week that our first application to the Arts Council was unsuccessful. The good news is that we had some really positive feedback on our plans, so we are reapplying and will be back in touch with you again by the end of September with (fingers crossed) the go-ahead for the project! Subject to securing the funding, rehearsals will then start later in the autumn and the performance will be at the Lighthouse on Saturday 20 May 2017 as part of our “Choral Festival” weekend.
We are still looking for corporate sponsors and partners to support the project. We can help you set up a choir in your workplace, offer marketing opportunities which will reach 1000s in the local community, and promote your business as part of our online and social media presence. You will be supporting hundreds of local people (including schools and young people) to find their voice and championing the role singing plays in today’s health and wellbeing agenda. To find out more, please get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you for your continued patience – we know it will be worth it!
